We are currently looking for an experienced Works Manager who can manage (large) offshore installation projects, having both a strong engineering but also installation background.

Function description

As a Works Manager, you are responsible for the operational execution of the works on site. You can rely on a team of site superintendents and project engineers. You report directly to the project manager. You focus on the bigger scheme of things whereas the superintendents deal with day-to-day issues.

Responsibilities:

• Organize the planning of the works. 
• Focus on the optimization and execution of the project. 
• Take care of the client’s needs (internal and external).
• Contribute to efficient realization of the project activities.
• Organize the planning of the works. 
• Manage QHSE-S standards and keep the project within time and budget. 
• Work closely together with Superintendents and Project Engineers on site and you coordinate the operational staff. 

Requirements

• Degree in (Civil) Engineering, preferably with a specialization in construction, or the equivalent by experience. 
• At least 3 years of experience with complex offshore engineering projects is required. 
• Hands-on mentality. 
• Availability to work abroad on one of our projects for a longer period of time.
• Good command of English. Knowledge of any other language is an asset.
• Due to the projects´ location a valid EU citizenship is mandatory.
