Our client is a major dredging and marine construction company looking for an Inventory Control Manager for their facility in Galveston, Texas.

Function description

The Inventory Control Manager will oversee equipment needs for each project and track orders and duties include:

• Evaluating suppliers and sourcing potential suppliers
• Train warehouse staff
• Audit supplies
• Prepare inventory for shipping and tracking
• Monitor safety regulations and compliance
• Communicate with Purchasing Dept regarding inventory needs

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Candidates should have at least 5 years Inventory Control Management experience.
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in using Inventory Control software
• Understanding of Inventory control and procedures.
