What will be your role?
You have probably been working in the Energy industry as an Account Manager or Commercial Manager and looking for the next step in your career. As a Business Manager Energy you are constantly looking for the ideal balance between sales and recruitment. You get energy from strategic mapping of all Energy leads and assists the Energy Department in the follow up. In addition, you are proactively involved in generating new leads for potential (inter)national customers, but you also deal with relationship management of existing customers.
You find it important to be able to carry iPS well in the market and to keep up-to-date on customer and market developments. You have a large network in the market and know what is going on in the field of Renewable Energy and Oil & Gas. Together with the Commercial Director you determine the course you are going to sail. Do you see developments in related markets? Then you provide a strategic plan to tap into it. You are jointly responsible for business results regarding Energy and keep the MT informed through weekly reporting. Your focus is on quality, in your work you find it important to make the difference at both customer and within iPS. You are not above or beside, but in the middle of the team. Only through close cooperation between sales and recruitment, you can create the ideal synergy that makes your team and iPS so successful.
Must haves
- HBO degree
- > 5 years’ experience in a commercial role
- You keep an overview in a rapidly changing environment and know how to set course
- You have experience and a network in the (Renewable) Energy and Oil & Gas industry
- Perfect command of Dutch and English language
- You have a demonstrable track record in the field of sales
- You keep a clear view on a strategic business development approach
- You are a natural networker and get energy from taking opportunities
