Function description
One of our established clients is searching for an experienced Deck Foreman for one of their heavy lift vessels which is working on a wind farm project in Dutch Waters. You will start in week 25 or week 27 and be onboard for roughly 6 or 7 weeks. As a Deck Foreman you will be responsible for the deck crew.
As a Deck Foreman you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Responsible for supervising deck crew and liaise between shift supervisor and captain;
- In charge and assist during deck, handling, mooring, anchoring and towing operations;
- Maintain rigging & lifting equipment log sheets, recording schedule and unscheduled maintenance on deck machinery;
- Being familiar with your duties in an emergency situation;
- Being aware of acts & regulations, procedures, and ensures that those are complied with.
Requirements
- Full GWO (5 certificates)
- Rigging & Slinging certificates
- Medical
- European work permit
- Strong sense of responsibility
