Meet our Manager QHSE and Facility Lisette van Wermeskerken.
Q: How long have you been working at iPS?
A: I have been working at iPS – Powerful People for 10 years this year
Q: How did the contact arise between iPS and you
A: iPS found me on Monsterboard and invited me for an interview, the interviews that followed went well and from that moment I started working at iPS.
Q: What position did you start with? What job title do you have now?
A: I started as an Executive Secretary, and now I can also add Manager QHSE and Facility to my function titles.
Q: Describe iPS in three words
A: I can´t describe iPS in three words, but if I need to describe the company it would be: International, positive work atmosphere, and opportunities to develop yourself.
Q: Mention a memory with a colleague that you will not soon forget
A: I don’t have a specific memory to share but I have a few ex colleagues who are now good friends and every time we see each other we always end up talking about the good times we had working together at iPS.
Q: What has been an important project over the years that you have been able to be a part of? How did you support the project?
A: The move of the iPS HQ. Together with an interior architect I developed the new look of the new office and managed the entire process and in the end the move to the new office.
Q: How have you developed yourself over the years?
A: I started working in the role of Executive Secretary, after 2 years I became responsible for not only the internal but also the external events and exhibitions. In 2016 the function of Facility Manager was added to my responsibility.
Last year I also took on the roles of prevention officer and information security officer. Since the 1st of January ’21 I am also Manager QHSE & Facility. With each new function I have learned more and more, especially how to be the most efficient with the time I have for finishing tasks. If I didn´t learned this it would not have been possible to have this many responsibilities 🙂
For the future I expect to keep moving forward and learning more within iPS.
