ISO 9001:2015 certified

Yesterday and the day before we had an external audit regarding our ISO 9001 Certification done by auditors from Bureau Veritas.
This time it was a transition audit from ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001:2015, which is a significant upgrade from our past Company Management System.

We are proud to announce that the audit was a success and no non-conformities/observations were reported by the auditor. Even with this new norm iPS remains fully compliant.

We'd like to thank everyone that was involved in the audit and a special thanks to Jeffrey Nouwen and Gertjan de Mare for their assistance during the audit.

One step closer..

We are proud to mention that Gertjan de Mare, Corporate Lawyer at iPS, has successfully finished his exam and is now holding the title CIPP/E (Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe). He will carry on his tasks at iPS - and as a member of our Privacy Team - as certified Data Protection Officer.

iPS' Privacy Team is herewith another step closer to compliance with the upcoming GDPR and to obtaining the ISO 27001 certificate in Q2, 2018.

MLC 2006 certificate renewed

We have something to celebrate!
Today we were audited by Bureau Veritas regarding our MLC 2006 Certification. The audit was taking place at our office in Capelle aan den IJssel.

We are proud to announce that the audit was a success and no non-conformities/observations were reported by the auditor. This is an amazing result and we want to thank our colleagues Jeffrey Nouwen, Gertjan de Mare, Pim Hooghart and Jantien van Zomeren for their assistance during this audit.

Four new colleagues

Lotte de Koster has started as a Junior Consultant at our Maritime department at our HQ. After finishing her study “European Studies” at De Haagse Hogeschool, Lotte has worked as a Resource Coordinator with Gist BV in Bleiswijk for 2 years.

Official host Offshore Energy Networking Event

In the afterhours of the first exhibition day, on Tuesday the 10th of October you are invited to enjoy dinner and drinks, music and entertainment in a relaxing environment during the Official Networking Event of Offshore Energy hosted by iPS – Powerful People.

The offshore energy market is moving and ‘energy transition’ is the key element. This also accounts for the Networking Event which will be held at B-Building Amsterdam, a new location for the event that builds bridges between startups, creatives, and corporate and brings them together. An excellent location for inspirational networking.

Opening new office

We opened another office!
This time it was a change of location for our staff in Mexico City. The office is a smaller version of our Dutch offices, with the same look and feel.
The building is centrally located which is a big improvement for our clients, but also reduces travelling for our local employees.

OHSAS 18001 audit success

The last 2.5 days we were audited by an external OHSAS 18001 auditor from Bureau Veritas to check the iPS Health and Safety system of our offices in the Netherlands, UAE and UK.
The auditor performed physical audits in both our HQ and Scheveningen office. The offices in the UAE and UK were audited via video conference.

We are proud to announce that we passed this OHSAS 18001 audit with zero nonconformities. This indicates that our processes, regarding health and safety, are still meeting the high standards of this certification.

A big thank you to our QHSE officer Jeffrey Nouwen and all others involved in this success.
